Kunjali Marakkar is a much hyped Malayalam movie that is going to be
released. The movie cast Mammootty and Prithviraj in the lead role. The
movie is directed by Amal Neerad. The expected budget of the movie is 30
crores. The latest news about the movie is that Kunjali Marakkar will
be released in 3D.
Kunjali Marakkar was the warrior of Samoothiri Namboothirippad. The
story of the film revolves around the life of the brave warrior and his
fights against the Portuguese. Mammootty portrays the role of Kunjali
Marakkar. The role to be enacted by Prithviraj has not been revealed.
Prithvi had already done an epic movie Urumi, which was produced by
himself.

Kunjali Marakkar is expected to start its shooting from February, next
year. The movie will be produced under the banner of August Cinema by
Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nateshan and Prithviraj who are currently basking
in the success of their last release Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty.
Producer Santhosh Sivan will be wielding the camera for this film.
Kunjali Marakkar is also said to be a bilingual which will be made in
Malayalam and Tamil, and also will be dubbed in Telugu and Hindi. The
director hopes to release this movie by next year August 15.
